I graduated from Mount Mercy College in the summer of 2005, majoring in journalism and political science. I am an advocate on transgendered issues and have been a featured guest speaker at colleges, has been a featured guest speaker at colleges and diversity seminars throughout the Midwest. In April 2011, I was a featured speaker at the White Privilege Conference, in Saint Paul, MN.
